​Shelly Drews, a self-taught artist based in Traverse City, Michigan, has been crafting her distinctive hand-carved and painted fish sculptures since 2014. Her vibrant and whimsical creations, known as "Laughing Fish," are designed to bring joy and have become popular pieces for cottage décor. Beyond fish, Shelly also creates a variety of other animals, including cats, dogs, and birds, each reflecting her unique artistic style.

Kirstie, the artist behind Echo Foxx Design, creates dreamy watercolor landscapes and rustic pine tree paintings on wood, capturing the natural beauty of Northern Michigan. In 2019, she and her mother, Shelly Drews, opened the Laughing Fish Gallery in Suttons Bay, Michigan, where they showcased their joyful art. After nearly six years, they closed the physical gallery in late 2024 to focus on sharing their creations online, allowing for greater flexibility with family and new endeavors. Kirstie's work reflects her passion for art and nature, bringing a touch of Northern Michigan's charm into each piece.​
